5. Making a choice is easy. What is hard is maintaining and empowering the choices we made. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh

13. Overcoming our obstacles in life has nothing to do with how much money we have or how much help we can get from others. It is all in how committed we are to fighting against smallness and pettiness around ourselves and about life itself. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
14. For us to BE who we are, we have to become absolutely responsible for our power, our greatness and our abilities. Who wants to do that?! It is much easier to just talk about it! ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
15. It is very easy to be comfortable when you have no responsibility, no accountability and/or no dreams. In that case, there is no difference between you and the tree in your back yard! But that tree has no choice and no free will. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
16. Accept where you are in life. This will allow you to grow up and fulfill all of your dreams and your goals in life. Be grateful for what you have, go forth and make more of yourself and make more of your life, but the key is to be okay with yourself and where you are in life. That is true peace of mind. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
17. When you are fully responsible for your life, circumstances do not determine the quality of your life. You do! Things are happening to you when you are alive, some hard, some sad and some unplanned. At the same time, some great, some fun and some joyful. All these events make up your life to remind you that you are alive! ~Behnam Bakhshandeh

19. The world is full of people who don't take responsibility for anything! They just want to blame something or someone for their lack of happiness and fulfillment. 20. You have to turn the heat up on yourself! You have to believe in what you do and who you are. Ask more of yourself than anyone else would! 22. You are the Hero and you are the Villain! You are the Bad and you are the Good! You are the Beautiful and you are the Ugly! You are the power you possess and it is up to you how you use it! Get to know yourself and the ways you are using or abusing your power for good or evil. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
23. Have you ever backed off from your responsibilities because it might upset someone else!!!? That is the moment you trade your power for "being liked." Being liked is not worth losing your integrity! ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
24. Again, we are back to "Keeping Promises" and "Not Quitting" and "Being Your Word." It sounds easy, but it is the hardest thing for us to do. By practicing endurance we can overcome obstacles and circumstances. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
25. Mostly your unhappiness is caused by the lack of getting what you "want" or engaging in "it should be this way/it shouldn't be that way" thinking. Empower the choices you have made, maintain the structures around those choices you have made, and you will be happy! ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
26. Stay away from interpretation, gossip and small talk; it will take you nowhere and lead only to more drama and more separation from other people. Get your facts straight and get to the heart of any matter. Do not dwell on the emotional surface. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
27. Look deeply and very closely at where you are in life. If you don't like it … move. Stay away from the notion that things will be better without your efforts and commitments. Be realistic, no matter how scary it is to do so. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
28. We shall deeply look at our relationship with our team members and see what is missing, that if we provided it our productivity would increase. It is all in the way we relate to each other; are we in this together or is it every one for themselves! ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
29. I think the bravest people are the ones who own their own shortcomings, their own mistakes and take responsibility for their faults. That is one area that nobody needs to be right about. Learn from them, stop doing them and move on! ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
30. I can say with certainty that we all know the right choice from the wrong choice when we had done the wrong one...the easier one, the most comfortable one! We shall always face the source of our temptations and own it, because it is guaranteed to revisit us again. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
31. If your problems keep repeating themselves, maybe it's because you have not changed the direction of your thinking and decision making. There is nothing to lose by shifting our way of thinking...we may learn one or two new things. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh

38. Don't get comfortable and easy going when things are going well in life; enjoy it and at the same time be ready and prepared for hard times and breakdowns. You will go through hardship and hard times even when you are prepared. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh

40. Stop blaming and pointing the finger to others for the hardship and tough events of your life. Look and see what you had to do with the outcomes of these life events. I am not saying it will be easy but it will be freeing. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh

42. Get real in life; get real about what is happening around you. Understand that your feelings and emotions are real feelings and emotions, but they are not reality. I am sure you can recall some emotionally charged decisions that turned into real disasters. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
43. There is not much to changing one's life directions, it is simple but very solidly unorthodox. Take on this mindset; "There is nobody in your life but you." ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
44. Life really doesn’t care about what your reasons are or explanations about why you don’t have what you want. Either you get into action about what you want or life will just deliver a dose of reality one day a time. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
45. We have nothing to regret by trying harder and getting up after falling. Actually staying down is more comfortable and much easier, but standing up gives us self-respect like nothing else and establishes stronger relationship with ourselves. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh

Each issue, problem, or obstacle has many different solutions or resolutions that are available to us when we step back and see the problem or issue as something that is not caused just by one person or just one thing. 49. Have I done everything I could have done? This is a very simple question many people are not willing to either ask or are too scared to look at the results of doing something else. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
50. Spend one lousy hour in a day to learn more about what you like or love. Nobody knows everything, everything known by everyone. Read more, especially from people you might not like, at least to understand them. ~Behnam Bakhshandeh
