Brian Dallmann, Everyday Hero
When interviewing Brian for this article he said that he used to be someone who only enjoyed the successful result, but not the journey in getting there nor the failed attempt. Life before coaching for him was a bit disorganized and not as fulfilling. He knew that it could be better and that there was more, but he just couldn’t figure out how to get there. One of the biggest insights that Brian had was that he was his biggest obstacle in his life! He was the one sabotaging his own success. Through the coaching processes, Brian was able to start looking at the conversations that he was having with himself and others and started to discover how he could alter those conversations to be more successful in his business, marriage and life in general. He realizes that he has a lot more room to grow and that this will be an ongoing process as he moves forward in his life. But, he has also started to accept himself for who he is. He started owning all parts of himself; the good, the bad and the ugly and by doing that he can now move forward. Brian is someone who has a vision and can recognize when he is standing in his own way and then deal with the obstacles head on, in the moment. He is planning better through setting goals and structuring them by putting them in his calendar. He is truly living from his vision every day and asks himself if it fits in his vision before he makes his choices. When Brian shared his vision with me, I knew that I had to put it in the article. Brian’s Vision is: Living and loving a life of fun and family. Contributing abundance to others through integrity and knowledge. Brian has learned to make work fun. He plans to continue to work on himself and mastering the tools he has learned and functioning like this every day! He is continuing to build solid relationships and communications and they are getting better all the time. He knows that he wants nothing more than to bring up his daughter Abbie with this new way of thinking that he has learned for himself. He said to me “I highly recommend both coaching & Bravehearts as they both offered different pieces” for my life. Brian, you are an educated man who I know was skeptical when you started this journey, but you have really grown and continue to inspire us, which is why we wanted to acknowledge you as this month’s Everyday Hero. |
